Terms of Use

1. Who we are and what this covers. Chalkfolio is an app made by Freedom Digital LLC. These terms apply when you create an account or use Chalkfolio. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. Your account. You need an email address and a password. Keep your password private. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Chalkfolio. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete its data. To buy Pro you must be at least 18, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the purchase. Chalkfolio is intended for use in the United States. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Your data. The matches and details you enter are yours. You give Freedom Digital LLC permission to store and process them to run the app for you. You can export them at any time and delete your account at any time. Please do not enter anything unlawful, and be mindful that opponent names you enter are other people's names.
4. Free and Pro. Free covers one league format, chosen when you log your first match, and the app shows your 15 most recent matches in it. Older matches are hidden from view, not deleted, and your Excel export includes them. Pro adds all league formats and your full match history. What each plan includes is shown in the app and may change over time. If a subscription ends, your account returns to Free and you choose which one league format stays Free. Matches outside the Free limits are hidden again. They are not deleted, and they return if you resubscribe.
5. Subscriptions and billing. Pro costs $2.99 per month or $21.99 per year, plus any applicable tax. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings › Plan and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. Refunds are handled as described in the refund and cancellation policy below, so cancel before your billing date if you do not want to renew. Freedom Digital LLC is the seller of Pro. Pro is sold through Link, which is the merchant of record: it processes your payment, collects sales tax, sends your receipts and appears on your card statement starting with LINK.COM. Your purchase is also subject to
Link's Consumer Terms. Prices may change, and a change will be shown to you before it applies to your next renewal.
6. Acceptable use. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer Chalkfolio, get around its limits, share an account, or use it to harm others.
7. Not affiliated. Chalkfolio is an independent app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the APA, VNEA, ACS or UltimatePool. Those names are used only to name the formats the app can score.
8. The app as provided. Chalkfolio is provided as is, with no promise it will always be available or error-free. It is a record-keeping tool, so check your own scores.
9. Liability. To the extent the law allows, Freedom Digital LLC is not liable for indirect or lost-data losses, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for Chalkfolio in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending. You can stop using Chalkfolio and delete your account at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms.
11. Changes. We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes before they apply.
12. Governing law and contact. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and disputes go to Illinois courts unless the law requires otherwise. Contact: support@freedomdigital.io.

Refund and cancellation policy
How refunds work. Pro is a digital subscription. Refund requests are handled through our payment provider, Stripe, which shows as Link. You can contact Link support, or email us. Link reviews refund requests made within 60 days of purchase, for example if you did not receive Pro, it is significantly not as described or does not work, or a charge was duplicated or unauthorized. Link does not review change-of-mind requests or renewals you did not cancel before your billing date. Where the law gives you a refund right, that applies too. If a payment is refunded in full, your subscription is cancelled and Pro ends right away. A partial refund does not end Pro. Link's own
refund policy also applies. If it is more generous than ours, Link's policy applies.
Cancel any time. Go to Settings › Plan and choose Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's customer portal, or sign in to your Link account. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again. This is the same for monthly and yearly plans.
Renewals. Plans renew automatically. Cancel before your billing date if you do not want to renew. Settings › Plan shows your next billing date and amount.
Mistakes. If you were charged twice, or Chalkfolio does not work as described, tell us. We try to fix it first. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we refund the charge.
How to ask. Contact Link support, or email support@freedomdigital.io from the email on your account. Stripe sends approved refunds to your original payment method. How long your bank takes to show it is up to the bank. Please contact us or Link support before you dispute a charge with your bank, so the problem can be fixed first.
When Pro ends. At the end of the period you paid for, your account returns to Free. You choose which one league format stays Free. Matches outside the Free limits are hidden, not deleted, and come back if you subscribe again. Before and after Pro ends, the app offers to export your matches to Excel, including hidden ones.
Deleting your account. Deleting your account cancels your subscription automatically. It does not by itself refund a payment already made.
Where this applies. This policy covers purchases made on the web through Chalkfolio.
