Chalkfolio
Privacy Notice
Chalkfolio is made by Freedom Digital LLC and is intended for use in the United States. Chalkfolio is not for children under 13. Here is what is stored, who can see it, and who helps run the app. Last updated: October 2026.
- What is stored: your account (name and email) and the matches you log, including the opponent names, scores and details you enter. Each account is kept separate. Other players cannot see your data, and you cannot see theirs. Opponent names are private to your account, and a nickname or initials is fine; full names are not needed.
- Age check: when you create an account, the app asks for your birth month and year to confirm you are 13 or older. It checks this on your device and does not store your birth month or year. Chalkfolio keeps only a record that you passed, whether you are 18 or older, and when. If your account was created before this check existed, the app asks once the next time you sign in.
- On your device: a few settings, such as your theme, and any match you started but have not submitted.
- Who can see it: we do not sell your personal information. We use service providers, including Google Firebase, to store and run the app. The app's developer can technically reach stored data through Firebase for support and maintenance.
- Usage analytics: if you are signed in and confirmed you are 18 or older, Chalkfolio uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count which parts of the app are used, so we can improve it. It stores an identifier on your device, is not tied to your name, and is not used for advertising. Google keeps this data for a limited time; our setting is 14 months. You can turn analytics off any time in Settings › About › Privacy & Data. Players under 18 are not included.
- Security check: the app uses Firebase App Check with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise to confirm that requests come from the real Chalkfolio app.
- Your data is yours: Settings › Your Data › Export Excel gives you a copy of your matches at any time.
- Deleting: Settings › Account lets you permanently delete your account and all your match data.
- Support emails: Report an Issue and Suggest a Feature open your email app with a message to support@freedomdigital.io. The app version and browser info are attached, and you can see and edit them before you send. For any other question about your data, email support@freedomdigital.io.
- Changes: this policy may change as the app develops. If it changes in a way that matters, the app will ask you to read it again.
